Did you know the library has thousands of eAudiobooks? The Library’s audiobook collection continues to grow, as more people enjoy listening to books. Audiobooks are available electronically through Libby as well as Hoopla.
Audiobooks can help to reduce negative thinking, since listening to someone else read aloud replaces those thoughts. Whether you choose non-fiction or a great fictional story, it’s a great way to relax and focus your mind.
Audiobooks aren’t just for adults. Both Libby and Hoopla have great eAudiobook titles for teens, tweens, and kids. Both are available with your library card, and Hoopla also offers movies, videos, TV shows, and music.
Being engrossed in a great story is much healthier than scrolling on their phones, and Libby and Hoopla have thousands of the latest titles like Diary of a Wimpy Kid –Cabin Fever by Jeff Kinney, or Stick Dog Comes to Town by Tom Watson, for kids, and Caraval by Stephanie Garber, or Legend by Marie Lu.
Help kids discover the joy of reading with our huge collection of read-along books. They are a treasure trove for literacy development, and they’re fun! Kids can explore books independently, building their confidence and curiosity. With guidance and interactive elements, read-alongs make storytime exciting and accessible.
