The Centerville Library is undergoing an exciting transformation, including freshly painted skylights in soft blue – a thoughtful design choice that emphasizes the natural light in the space. We’ve kept the library open during construction – hold pickup remains available while browsing is temporarily limited. Completion is set for early summer 2026, although we plan to have more space opening in late winter. Best of all, the renovation is funded entirely through saved resources with no new taxes needed.
Creativity Commons at RecPlex is Montgomery County’s only public library makerspace, where your library card unlocks incredible creative tools. Use vinyl cutters, laser engravers, heat presses, sublimation printers, embroidery machines, and 3D printers to craft truly unique items.
