Programming My Foundation
Michelangelo once stated “The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low and reach it”. Many students think that they can just get average grades and still make it to a good college and a job. Although that is a route you could take, it’s going to turn out to be a sharp turn downhill. The better option is to secure an excellent foundation and have a superior resume for college, and you will have a reason for job offerers to choose you over thousands of other people. Planning out your life beforehand has an immense impact on getting where you want to be in life. It’s truly a virtue!
I have been taking steps to reach towards my goal since I was 8 years old. I knew that I wanted to be a programmer, and I soon realized that being a couch potato isn’t going to get me anywhere. I started focusing more on math and science, the basic requirements for programming. I started getting ahead of my class and now, I am an 8th grader, taking 10th grade math! I plan to take many courses in high school that will help me build a strong foundation for my career. I will take computer science courses, advanced math courses, and science courses including physics.
Programming is my passion, and I have loved It for the past three years. My Dad initially got me into the world of web developing, and I soon fell in love with it. My Dad has always helped me to get where I want. He would always raise my self esteem and let it fly high whenever it would stoop down low. My Dad has always supported me and helped me get where I want to be. Because of him, I have been able to learn many programming languages, and I have also created a couple of simple robots. Without my Dad, I would not be where I am right now.
Self-esteem and confidence has a great impact on my life. If I have self-esteem as high as a mountain, no earthquake can bring me down. However, if I have self-esteem as small as a molehill, it is going to be a long journey. I have always tried to be confident in what I do, but I make sure that I never become overconfident. My family and friends have always kept my self-esteem high. I know that if I my self-esteem decides to go down, I will always have someone to cheer me up.
Planning out my life has given me a better understanding of where I want to go in life. My Dad has helped me progress and grow academically. I have high self-esteem and confidence. I know that in the future, I will never regret that I planned out my life. I know that I have laid out my life just like I want.
