About this Service
- Library staff cannot provide assistance for equipment or software owned by others.
- Patrons using library services must comply with the Library’s Rules of Conduct and Internet Access & Use Policy.
How Do I Connect?
- Connect to 'wcpl' on your device's list of available WiFi connections. Enter the password 'wcplpassword'.
- Accept the Internet Access and Use Policy.
Is the Network Secure?
- The Library's WiFi network is secure, however, information sent across WiFi networks can be intercepted by others. The Library is not responsible for loss of information or equipment damage.
Are There Any Restrictions on WiFi Use?
- Access is not available to sites using non-standard ports. Many corporate intranets and remote desktop applications use non-standard ports and cannot be accessed from the library.
- The Library uses filters to block websites with content legally defined as obscene or pornographic. Screens may be viewable by library patrons of all ages. For more information on filtering, please read the Internet Access & Use Policy. Violation of this policy could result in suspension of internet and/or Library privileges.
