The xTool P2 works with dozens of different materials and can safely print on any laser-compatible material, with examples below. Creativity Commons recommends Proofgrade™ materials for automatic settings and perfect results. Other materials can be used after approval from Creativity Commons staff. The P2 is compatible with different file formats, including SVG, DXF, JPG, JPEG, PNG, BMP, TIF, CR2, and many more style formats.
Work Area
Proofgrade™ materials are recommended. You may bring in your own items to etch or cut, but Library staff must check that the items are safe to use with the laser. If staff members have any doubt about safety, the item will not be allowed in the laser.
